This week Sam Smith & Demi Lovato delivered new music to the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart with ‘I’m Ready’ debuting at No.29 with 245 spins.
16 stations across Australia added plays for the track, with both KIIS stations out in front, each adding 29 instances. Other CHR stations jumped on board including the Hit and Nova networks as well as Star 104.5 on the Central Coast.
Australian singer-songwriter Sam Fischer inched up the chart to No.24 after gaining 104 spins on ‘This City (Remix)’. Melbourne’s Fox FM was the track’s top supporter this week, accounting for 34 plays, followed by KRock Geelong with 27 instances. Hit stations in Newcastle and on the Gold Coast and Central Coast also spun the original version of the track.
German DJ Topic and Swedish producer A7S enjoyed the highest gain this week for ‘Breaking Me’. Spins were up 50%, taking the track to No.30 with 244 spins. The Edge Sydney was out in front with 48 spins for the collaboration (up from 16 spins last week), while the Nova network accounted for more than half of the week’s airplay.
