SBS Chill is again counting down the best chill out tracks voted by listeners this News Year’s Day. 2024’s countdown will also be available on SBS On Demand, mixing music and visuals.

The 2023 Chillest 100 had At The River by Groove Armada at No 1. It samples Old Cape Cod by Patti Page, a song recorded 65 years ago.

Teardrop by Massive Attack was a close second and Innerbloom by Sydney dance outfit Rüfüs Du Sol placed third. Last year’s list can be found here.

SBS Chill now has a dedicated FAST channel on SBS On Demand, with calming sceneries and landscapes accompanying the songs. The Chillest 100 will be played on SBS Chill and the FAST channel on New Year’s Day from midday to 9pm. You can also listen on DAB+ Radio, the SBS Audio App or Digital TV (channel 306).
