SPIN CYCLE Survey 2: The truth is there to be stretched

Of course, you can’t get away with telling lies about survey results without a swift rebuke from your competitors. But given the intricacies of the data supplied by Nielsen, almost everyone can find a reason to celebrate. Some find it in cumes, others in share or demographics. Either way, by lunchtime on survey day most stations will have created a media release showing its strengths and hiding its weaknesses. Here’s a selction of the best that the PR departments have to offer.

 

 

2Day FM continues its run as Sydney’s number one choice with an increase in overall share and attracting 65,000 listeners to The Kyle& Jackie O Show in Nielsen’s second radio ratings for 2012.  Sydney’s most listened to breakfast radio is once again on top, with its 38th consecutive survey as first choice.  Fifi & Jules plus Hamish & Andy remain Sydney’s favourite for the drive home, making the station with the biggest hits and biggest stars an all round winner.
