Stage and Screen take to Radio

Channel Ten newsreader, Jessica Rowe, has become co-host of Jonesy’s Breakfast Bar on WSFM each Monday for the next four weeks.

She has joined other regulars, former Triple M breakfast co-presenter, Amanda Keller, of ABC tv’s ‘Mondo Thingo’ (Wednesdays) and comedian/radio personality, Tanya Bulmer (Fridays).

Jonesy’s last show for the year will air on 10 December, after which WSFM management is expected to move to appoint a permanent replacement co-host for Kayley Harris after 15 years on breakfast.

Keller has refused to comment on speculation that she is the obvious replacement for Harris. She knows Jonesy well from their days at Triple M, but says it is too early to comment on whether she has been approached by WS management.

From screen to stage, singer David Campbell will be on Nova 969 from this evening as co-host with Lizzy Lovett on nights.

Campbell will be on air for at least four months and comes in for Kip Wightman, who returns to Nova’s afternoon shift.

The son of Jimmy Barnes is working on a new album and is the star of stage musicals including the Johnny O’Keefe tribute, ‘Shout’.

Also on Nova 969, the station has a new tv ad, which uses groundbreaking animation technology to redefine Sydney’s skyline through colour and movement.

Merrick and Rosso have never looked better with their bizarre animated features! And, for the first time, the Nova boy logo has come to life!

The ad was created by animation artist, James Hackett, who won two ARIA awards for ‘Best Video’ and ‘Best Cover Art’.
