Sunraysia’s new breakfast show is up and running

The first few weeks of hit99.5’s newest breakfast show with Michael “Billows” Billings and former Darwin Hot100 Announcer Amy Hegedus has had its share of hurdles.

While the duo hit the ground running, covering everything from what not to feed your baby, to teaching yourself how to drive a manual car, the launch was not without its bumps, with Billows’ wife going into labor 6 weeks earlier than expected and giving birth two weeks into the shows launch.

Content Director Luke “Becks” Toohey is excited about the show “We are thrilled to have Amy join the team and offer a new DNA to the show which compliments the already stellar line up on Hit, and I know Amy and Billows are going to build a great relationship with listeners in Mildura and surrounds”.

Amy, meantime, will be going solo for a few weeks once the newborn is out of hospital as Billows will be off on paternity leave.
