Tania Amstrong joins Dead Set Legends

Sports reporter, producer and presenter Tania Armstrong will join Adrian Barich and the rest of mix94.5’s Dead Set Legends when they return to the airwaves, tomorrow.

Working in the industry for more than two decades, Armstrong’s career highlights include working for seven AFL Grand Finals, the 2004 Athens Olympics and numerous test Cricket matches.

She has also worked as a boundary rider for Triple M Footy and is currently in her tenth year with Fox Sports.

With a passion for sport and media at the forefront, Armstrong is also a devoted wife, mother of two young boys (which she describes at times can be ‘hectic’) and owner of her beloved Cavoodle, Oscar.

“Having worked in TV news for so long I can’t wait to get on the radio and just be able to chat about sport and everything happening Perth,” said Armstrong.

“It’s going to be fun interviewing sports stars, coaches and commentators in a relaxed manner and I’m sure we’ll have fun every weekend.”

In 2016 the Dead Set Legends will be run by Barich and Armstrong with former West Coast Eagle, Andrew Embley and Perth Wildcat, Damian Martin rotating on the show.

“I’ve known Barra forever, and Embers and Marto will have plenty of cool stories and a heap of inside knowledge too.”
