Triple M Adelaide’s tribute to Richie Benaud

Richie Benaud, has died after a battle with skin cancer and tributes are flowing in.

The cricket commentator who had an unusual way of pronouncing the word “two” will be remembered by Adelaide’s 104.7 Classic Triple M this afternoon with a minute’s silence at 2.22.

Announcer Iron Hayden, who will lead the tribute says,

“We were never going to just report on the passing of Richie Benaud, take a few calls and that’s it. The man is a cricketing legend, a sporting icon and one of the nicest blokes to ever take up the mic… we look forward to Adelaide joining us in celebrating the life of the legend, Richie Benaud.”

RIP Richie.
