With the NRL season under way for 2014, Sydney’s Triple M is hoping to capitalise on its increased coverage of matches this year.

So the Grill Team wasted no time getting amongst the crowd in Round One to promote their breakfast show at Sunday’s St George Illawarra Dragons vs. Wests Tigers game.

The Grill team were there to give away a large cheque to the listener whose chosen player scored the first try of the game as part of its $20,000 Try promotion.

Now, Triple M has one very happy listener, Scott Fitzpatrick, whose player Patty Richards crossed the line just five minutes in to make him a richer man.
