96.5 InnerFM Melbourne announcer Sandra McCurdy last week lost her life to cancer, a shock to many people connected to the McCurdy family, including the listeners to her weekly radio program, Sunday with Sandra.

Sandra had presented the program for the past 30 years, was given an inoperable cancer diagnosis in early May this year after feeling unwell for about 24 hours. 

Her son, Trent McCurdy is preparing a tribute edition of Sunday with Sandra this Sunday from 2pm.
