Yee-haa! Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola took a country theme, and fuel crisis very literally, arriving to the The Fox studio in Melbourne for his breakfast show on horseback.

The country-inspired show was to spotlight the genre’s growing crossover into mainstream music, with the team playing a mix of classic and contemporary artists all morning including Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Beyonce, Lil Nas X, Dasha, Ella Langley, Tom Cochrane, and Taylor Swift.
Fifi Box, co-host of The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick and country enthusiast, said that “she could get used to this” as the team dressed in country outfits.
Fev’s arrival set the tone and surprised his co-hosts with an entrance more at home on a ranch than in South Melbourne.
As he rode into town…..
Fifi: “Oh, I see a man with a cowboy hat on…”
Nick Cody: “Oh my God!”
Fifi: “It’s Fev on a horse! That’s a gorgeous horse. Look at him! It’s John Dutton [from Yellowstone]!”
Fev: (arriving) “Sorry, guys. I’ve been on the farm all morning. (laughs)”
Fifi: “You definitely look the part. What a beautiful horse. We really are country & western today!”
Nick: “He’s going off into the sunrise! I’ve never seen that on a film before (laughs).”
You can listen to Fifi, Fev & Nick on Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox from 6-9am weekdays, also on LiSTNR. It’s a cracker!
