This morning at 8:07 AEST, it was exactly 7 hours and 13 days since Prince passed away and WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda joined in a global radio tribute to the music legend and one of his most loved songs. 
 
‘It’s been 7 hours and 13 days’ is the opening line from one of Prince‘s most beloved songs ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’. 
 
Radio station KCMP (89.3 The Current) Minneapolis put a call out to radio stations across the world to join in a simulcast of Prince’s version of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ which he wrote and recorded in the mid-1980s but Sinead O’Connor (who changed the lyrics to 15 days) took to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks in 1990.
 
WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda joined in on the tribute at 8:07am.
