John Stokes17 October 2014 Former ABC Coast FM announcer John Stokes has passed away after a long battle with cancer. In radio for 29 years, ‘Stokesy’ was part of the original team at ABC Coast FM on the Gold Coast in the eighties. He moved to the Sunshine coast in 1993.
