ASSASSINS – New ABC video podcast explores murders that changed history

The new ABC video podcast ASSASSINS sees host Aslan Pahari (pictured below) break down some of the world’s most notorious murders From seizing power, to silencing dissidents, you’ll hear how famous figures like Abraham Lincoln, Benazir Bhutto, Ramses III, Tupac, Rasputin and Gandhi met their end.

The first episode looks at the life and death of US President Abraham Lincoln.

The assassin, stage actor John Wilkes Booth, was so famous that many people had images of him hung on the walls of their homes. But how did an American celebrity kill an American President in front of hundreds of witnesses and escape the scene, kicking off a farcical manhunt?

It is the story of how the hunter became the hunted.
