Living in Sydney, I had the chance to listen to Ben's broadcast. Comparing his breakfast program to his former drive program, the breakfast program sounds more 'newsy' and faster paced. That is his breakfast program trumps his former drive show.
Former presenter Alan Jones is reported to have said to Ben, "...be yourself..." It is not Alan Jones' with Ben's voice. One would not expect to hear Ben's voice 'channeling' Alan Jones.
Due to the fast-pace of the breakfast program, I do not expect to hear as many emails being read on air compared to his former drive show. If emails are read, they would be no longer than one or two sentences.
