Remember Sam Arenson, the young Aussie who took the chance to move to the London at the beginning of last year?
Sam, an AFTRS Alumni (2017), had applied for a job at Fix Radio, sold his furniture and belongings, and headed for London from Bunbury, only to find his new job put on hold thanks to COVID.
He toughed it out, stayed on the Fix Radio radar, landed a gig as announcer and digital content producer, and now has been nominated for the most recent 30 under 30 list in the UK, class of 2021 by the Radio Academy.
Sam says, as the only Australian and non-British person in the list he is”…incredibly proud to be representing Australia over here and to be recognised for my work after getting here the week the pandemic started in March 2020… well you can imagine it’s been a roller coaster of emotions.”
Well done to @ArchieArenson for making the 30 Under 30 list, Class of 2021. #RWRA30
