I have a lot of respect for 2SER as a volunteer and as an employee managing the station during weekends.
It is an inclusive station that welcomes people regardless of one's background. People respect each other is the norm.
One makes friends with all kinds of people from budding and established community language broadcasters to the chief engineer and clerical staff.
When one puts into the station produces a return greater than the input. For example I completed courses in workplace training and Protools.
Most grateful for the experience.
Thank you,
Anthony, it was a better experience than working for a certain broadcasting network, Belfield, in the land of the Wangal and Darug Peoples of the Eora Nation.
