After three months of Beta testing TikTok Music is now publicly available in Australia, Singapore and Mexico.

It works in a similar subscription fashion to Spotify, with a one key difference being that Universal Music Group has opted out of having their catalogue included.

There is also a music discovery personal assistant called Tonik, again similar to Spotify’s AI DJ, and ‘FYP Tuning’ that lets users “swipe right for a choice of music scenes and moods”.

Tiktok Music is free to trial for the first month.
