The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential reports: Mark Latham yesterday made history by becoming possibly the first aspirant for The Lodge to burp while being interviewed on radio. He was discussing who his best mates were on Melbourne radio station MMM when the unmistakable resonance of a burp came over the airwaves, followed by much studio laughter. "You’ve given me the good coffee. It’s just repeated on me," said Latham. "I was just doing sound effects," was the Labor Leader’s excuse.
