MRN boss, Russell Tate calls Ray Hadley a ‘psychotic bully’

An article published in the Australian Financial Review reveals that, following Ray Hadley’s now infamous dressing down of young staffer Richard Palmer in February this year, Macquarie Radio Network executive chairman, Russell Tate sent an email to the 2GB Mornings presenter accusing him of being a “psychotic bully.”

Managing Director Rob Loewenthal, whose decision to suspend Hadley was overturned by major shareholder John Singleton, described the coverage of Mr Hadley’s alleged bullying of 2GB producer Richard Palmer as “a fucking disgrace”

Palmer, who is in charge of the 2GB website, recorded the “expletive laden tirade” he was forced to suffer by Hadley for not posting content from his show fast enough.

He is suing Hadley for bullying and false imprisonment.
