​Nova shortlisted for New York Festivals Radio award

NOVA Entertainment’s ANZAC Day tribute has been shortlisted for an award at New York’s acclaimed international radio festival.  
 
The piece is a moving tribute to a colleague’s brother aired as a part of the ANZAC service in 2013. has been New York Festival’s International Radio Program Awards.
 
Created by Nova’s National Creative Writer Rusty Graham and Commercial Producer Brett Perry is the only finalist in the documentary category from an Australian commercial station. Between them, the ACRA winning Perry and Graham have over four decades of commercial radio experience.
 
Narrated by Nova 96.9’s Matt De Groot, the piece paid homage to Sergeant Brett Wood and featured personal excerpts from his sister Charlene.  
 
The NYF’s International Radio Program Awards will be announced on June 23.
