Spot the straight guys at the Mardi Gras

Having dubbed the station 2Gay FM in honour of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, 2Day FM sent two of their finest into the fray.

To cover the event, Sophie Monk and Jules Lund were heavily disguised, Sophie shimmered from head to toe as the queen mermaid on the under the sea themed ‘Hot Kandi’ float led by Trishy Dishy, while her breakfast co-host Jules Lund was surprised on the night with the revelation that he would be joining the ‘Harbour City Bears’ float – wearing a super hero outfit!

Sophie, who wore a bejewelled bra and sky high heels, was covered in Swarovski crystals, glitter and mermaid scales and dazzled onlookers with her ocean elegance and striking ‘pearl necklace’.

2DayFM is the official commercial radio broadcast partner for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in an exclusive two-year deal. The station transforms its logo from 2DayFM to 2GayFM for part of the Mardi Gras festivals in both 2014 and 2015.
