Nova 969 is giving around 1000 listeners the chance to join the Merrick and Rosso breakfast team’s office party with a twist.

The Merrick and Rosso’s Xmas Work Do is set down for Wednesday (24 November) at Star City Casino’s Grand Ballroom, which will be transformed into a giant office.

Nova says with French onion dip, cocktail frankfurts, cask wine, a casino and a couple of comedians, there are all the ingredients for an event which promises to cause no more than a blip on the social calendar!

“Lowlights of the night will include a special Merrick and Rosso Christmas pantomime featuring Larry Emdur, Tommy Williams and other celebrity types, who are overcoming ‘credibility’ issues because of their association with us. Dicko will be fulfilling the role genetics intended him for when he wriggles into a Santa suit for us.

“Evermore and Scribe will perform live among the filing cabvarchar(15)s – and they’ll even be a photocopying room (not for that!). One lucky listener will also get the chance to win a $10 000 Bing Lee shopping spree.”

Tickets are being given away daily in on Merrick & Rosso’s breakfast and across the day with Bianca Dye in mornings, Kip in afternoons and Rabbit in drive.
