La Bouche’s flash back Sweet Dreams played today when the station went off air for 30 seconds. But not by accident.

SAFM’s breakfast team have been asking listeners this week to guess what the first song would be if the station went off air. Today, they committed one of radio’s biggest sins and, purposely, let the station go silent for an agonising 30 seconds until the tape kicked in, to reveal to listeners just what that first song would be.
