The annual Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) conference is on in Adelaide from November 2-4 with the 2023 program announced.
Thursday November 2 will see morning masterclasses on podcasting, youth and newsroom (newsroom by invitation only) before the conference begins with an address by the Minister for Communications Michelle Rowland.
Speakers include former ABC producer Jane Curtis (pictured) who now creates podcasts and lectures at institutions including the University of Sydney, presenting ‘Telling Local Stories Through Hyperlocal Podcasting’ as well as the masterclass on designing podcasts. Natalie Egleton, CEO of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) will present ‘Building Capacity for Funding in Community Broadcasting’, and more.
