2DayFM is turning up its homegrown music support ahead of AusMusic Month in November, with a lineup of initiatives to support Australian artists and an all Aussie day on Wednesday November 19, which is ARIA Awards day.
Throughout November, 2DayFM will continue to showcase Australian artists with:
● More Australian artist music features
● On-air interviews and chats with AusMusic ambassadors and emerging talent
● On-air and social support for AusMusic T-Shirt Day on Thursday, November 27
● A Hot Hits weekly feature album highlighting standout Australian releases
● The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma will continue their ‘Under the Covers’ acoustic series
● PLUS, an event you won’t want to duck
From 9am to 3pm on Wednesday November 19 the entire Hit Network will go all-Australian, playing nothing but
Australian artists in celebration of the the ARIA Awards, with Nic Kelly hosting ARIA Amplified.
Since launching the new format ‘The Hits, Before They Hit’ format in March, 2DayFM has supported new music from Australian acts like Ocean Alley, Fisher, Winston Surfshirt, Young Franco, Tobiahs, Kita Alexander, Ruel, Cosmos Midnight, Newport and more.
