2GB’s Olivia Wilbury and Jacob Pittolo switch roles

Nine Radio and 2GB are in possession of some exceptional producers who work hand in hand with the top rating on-air talent at the station.

Olivia Wilbury has worked with Nine as a producer and later executive producer for 4BC and 2GB, for nine years and was EP for Ray Hadley (the two pictured together main) up until his retirement at the end of last year. Ray said of Olivia that she has the extraordinary capacity to be able to provide him with a name, date or place almost before he needed it.

Jacob Pittolo is up to eight years also from junior office assistant to producer and now EP working with John Stanley, Deb Knight and, most recently, Michael McLaren.

Now the pair have switched shifts, with Olivia taking over from Jacob as EP of the Afternoon program with Michael McLaren and Jacob becoming EP to Mark Levy who succeeded Ray on Mornings.

Mark Levy was No 1 in mornings in this week’s GfK Radio 360 Survey 3, with a 15.5% audience share 10+. Michael McLaren was up 0.6 to 10.6%, second behind smooth fm in the afternoon.
