2HD reinstates local country presenter

The reintroduction of Country Music Radio to the Caralis Network has not made all its listeners happy.

To bring back the Saturday and Sunday night networked program, Newcastle station 2HD dropped a local Sunday Night country presenter Carter Edwards, causing outrage from his loyal followers.

After howls of protest from listeners, Manager George Liolio acted quickly to restore the program, which has been running for 18 years.

The Nick Erby program will follow on 2HD when the local program finishes each Sunday.
