Commenting on the wins, 2SER Managing Director Melanie Withnall said, ‘In the last two years, 2SER has taken the bold strategy to invest in long-form audio. So it’s an absolute honour to see our content stack up and shine at a global stage, which reaffirms the high quality of our work and the direction we’re headed in with our programming.’

Just Words Executive Producer Emma Lancaster said, ‘As journalists we want to dig deep into the issues that matter. And for us podcasts are a place to tell these stories.

‘Just Words was 2SER’s first venture into long-form and we learnt many lessons – with late night edits, countless rewrites and a lot of hard work from 2SER producers and staff. We are grateful to all those who shared their story with us and to be recognised for this work, we’re very humbled.’
