2TM and 92.9fm held it’s Outside Broadcast Bra-B-Q fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness month on 26th October 2022, raising money for local charity, Serendipity Tamworth.
Serendipity are a local Tamworth charity, who raise funds for the improvements of local facilities associated with breast cancer.
The event was held in Fitzroy Plaza, where the bollard of bras was created from donated bra’s from listeners all along the pathway.
There was a BBQ, flavoured milk, cakes, donuts and a mega raffle all raising money on the day.
2TM and 92.9 also held a silent auction of an advertising package across both stations valued at $1575 and in the end were able to hand over a cheque to Serendipity for $3552.20.
