At 2UE there have been about 10 more redundancies over the past couple of weeks from various areas of the station as the new owners rationalise staffing. Cuts have included positions in sport, news and support staff. 4BC has also felt the winds of change since Southern Cross have taken over:

The “Early Edition” (4-5am) with Dales Whyte has ended. “New Day Australia” with John Kerr will continue through to 5am.

The 4BC “Sports Centre” with Ashley Bradnam & Rod Tiley (6-8pm) has finished. Greg Cary gets an extra two hours and is now on from 4-8pm. Tiley, who was also afternoon news editor, has been made redundant.

The 4BC Sports Department has been disbanded with David Lutteral being made redundant and Ben Dobson moving back into news.
