4BC to broadcast live from G20 summit

News Talk 4BC today announced coverage plans for the G20 Leaders’ Summit – including live broadcasts over five days from Wednesday, November 12, and boosting its reporting team.

4BC Mornings Host Patrick Condren will lead the G20 coverage on 4BC throughout the period.

The G20 Leaders’ Summit in Brisbane is expected to attract up to 4,000 delegates and approximately 3,000 domestic and international media representatives.

4BC will have reporters stationed at key locations across the city delivering up to date information and rolling coverage of significant events.

The local news team will be joined by Fairfax Radio Network National Affairs Editor Michael Pachi and the Fairfax Radio Network Canberra Bureau’s Olivia Leeming.

This Wednesday and Thursday, 4BC will broadcast from the heart of Brisbane where the world’s leading thinkers will gather as part of the Global Café, a key event leading up to the Leaders’ Summit.

The 4BC website will provide the very latest from its stable of journalists and field reporters along with images as the city welcomes the world’s most powerful leaders. Listeners can also follow 4BC’s live coverage via Twitter and Facebook.

“Our dedicated team of journalists will be Brisbane’s eyes and ears on the streets, for all the news and events from the G20 Leaders’ Summit,” 4BC General Manager Anthony Frangi said.

“Our team will also have the latest reaction from locals on the G20 and how it’s affecting them. Our broadcasts will make 4BC Brisbane’s essential guide to the G20.”
