75th birthday party for 882 4BH

‘Best Songs of All Time’ 882 4BH will celebrate 75 Years of broadcasting with a Gala Dinner on Tuesday May 29th at the Sofitel in Brisbane.

Radio 4BH went to air in 1932 and was the second Brisbane radio station to be owned by businessman and later Lord Mayor John Chandler. Over the past 75 years the radio station has become a trusted and reliable source of entertainment and information for the people of Brisbane.

The Gala Dinner will be attended by former 882 4BH announcers including Norm Llewellyn, Russ Walkington, Ben Beckinsale, Ken Smith and the man that discovered the Bee Gees – Bill Gates. The current 882 4BH team will play host to these special guests and listeners with live entertainment from the 4BH Show Band, The Cloudland Experience and lots of prizes to be won including a Traveltrain Holidays Queensland holiday.

882 4BH is Brisbane’s 3rd highest station with a share of 10.5%. It also has the distinction of being Australia’s number one AM music station.
