The 85th Anniversary 2TM Cookbook was launched today in Tamworth with all proceeds going to Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
 
The project came about while searching for information on the stations’ history and uncovered along the journey, was the information that the 2TM Women’s Radio Club had published a Cookery Book in 1947.
 
This book contained listener recipes and cooking tips and has today become a cherished collectors’ item that has been passed down through the generations.

2TM and sister station 92.9FM Tamworth have produced a new cook book to celebrate their 85th birthday and to donate 100% of the proceeds to the essential rescue service.
 
The 85th Anniversary 2TM Cookbook features family recipes from prominent people who have a strong connection to Tamworth, such as Felicity Urquhart, The McClymonts, Joy McKean and Anne Kirkpatrick and there are recipes from 2TM identities Peter Huxley, Sally-Anne Whitten, Toni Ambrogetti and Jarrad Brook, some prominent Tamworth sports people and even one from a rescue pilot, as well as from listeners who submitted recipes.
