Breakfast host Jess Eva will star in the upcoming season.


Sunshine Coast presenter Jess Eva of the BarRat and Jess breakfast show is joining the lineup for season 14 of Channel Nine reality renovation series, The Block, alongside fiance Norm Hogan. 

Eva is also founder of Sick Sit, a company that takes care of sick children so their parents can still go to work. 

“We applied last season and just missed out, but we were lucky to get the call this season,” Jess told the Daily.

“Why wouldn’t you? It’s The Block. Out of all the realty TV shows it’s TV royalty. To even be short listed is an incredible honour.”

This season of The Block will see five teams transform apartments in the iconic Gatwick Hotel in Melbourne’s St Kilda.
