92.7 MIX FM’s Mark & Caroline take charity to new heights

92.7 MIX FM’s Caroline Hutchinson was this morning sprung with the news that she would be sent 40 metres high on a crane, live on radio, and would rely on the generosity of the Sunshine Coast to get her down.

It’s 92.7 MIX FM Breakfast Co-host Mark Darin’s birthday, but to his delight it was Caroline who got the big surprise – ‘Caroline’s Crash Land for 20 Grand’ which aims to raise at least $20,000 for 92.7 MIX FM’s Give Me 5 For Kids (for the record it was achieved).

Caroline’s Crash Land For 20 Grand comes after Caroline hi-jacked Mark into getting his head shaved, convinced him to have a proctology exam live on air and tricked Mark into being thrown out of a plane

“This morning I decided – enough is enough,” Mark said;

 “It’s time for Caroline to feel a little uncomfortable AND raise some money for MIX FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids”.

“Caroline is terrified of heights and I’m hoping the people of the Sunshine Coast don’t want to leave her 40 metres in the air for too long.”

92.7 MIX FM will be broadcasting all day, or as long as it takes, from the location starting with Mark & Caroline from 6am-9am and a free BBQ.

“I’m helping her get over her fear of heights,” Mark added. ”Besides, all the money goes to Sunshine Coast Child Health services”
