The ABA plans to auction its next batch of licences in rural Queensland and rural NSW during the first half of this year pending approval from the ABA board.
Twenty narrowcast and three commercial licences will be auctioned – applications to bid will be invited in March/April. Areas will include the Darling Downs, Kingaroy, Dalby and Warwick in Queensland, and The Midcoast, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, New England and Hunter Regions in NSW.
Reserve prices for the commercial licences are expected to be $100,000 and reserve prices for the narrowcast licences $4,000.
