ABC launches Doctor Who pop up station

It’s what Doctor Who fans are calling the biggest event in the universe – The Day of The Doctor.

This much anticipated TV epic screens this Sunday celebrating 50 years of The Doctor Who series – featuring a number of the actors who’ve played the role of The Doctor over the years and reportedly, a lot of surprises.

ABC Radio will complement this television extravaganza with a pop up radio station featuring days of all things Doctor Who.

The station will launch with a talkback session, following the Day of the Doctor which screens at 6.50am this Sunday. It will continue with Doctor Who related material until Sunday November 30.

The Doctor Who station can be heard on ABC Extra digital in capital cities.

It will also be streamed online through the ABC website.
