The ABC Radio International Women’s Day All Star Debate

Is bold the new beautiful?

In the ABC’s second annual International Women’s Day All Star Debate on Thursday 8 March, six very different Australian women boldly go where others fear to tread.

If Bold Is the New Beautiful, what was the old one? And does it include intelligence courage and copious amounts of hairspray? The ABC aims to puncture strength and beauty as it is for women in an age of hashtag movements, botox and the courage to speak up and out.

There are consequences and repercussions. There is progress and pain. But most of all, in this International Women’s Day All Star Debate there’s a gang of strong, bold, sassy women working together to make things better for all, with heart, wit and laughter.

Presented by Libbi Gorr, ABC Radio Melbourne, and 7.30 ABC TV along with,
