2024 ACRAs: Full Winners List

The 2024 ACRAs winners have been revealed at tonight’s glamorous ceremony at The Star in Sydney.

Jonesy and Amanda have been named Best On-Air Team (Metro) at the 35th annual Australian Commercial Radio & Audio (ACRA) Awards, the fifth time the WSFM stars have won the title. Triple M Gold Coast’s Flan, Ali & Spida won Best On Air Team (Provincial) and Mixx Brekky with Jimmy & Lippi won the Country category.

2GB’s Ben Fordham received the award for Individual Talent of the Year (Metro) in recognition of his outstanding impact on Australian radio. He also took home the Best Talk Presenter (Metro) award for the second consecutive year. Katie Woolf from Mix 104.9, Darwin won Individual Talent Provincial and Mixx FM, Hamilton’s Courtney McIntyre won in the Country category.

Kyle & Jackie’s Hour of Power (ARN) continued its dominance, winning Best Networked Show, while Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne of Life Uncut were awarded Podcast Host(s) of the Year for their candid conversations that have captured audiences across Australia.

The Gudinski Award for Australian Music Champion was presented to Triple M Homegrown with Matty O (SCA). Honouring the late Michael Gudinski, the award celebrates outstanding contributions to Australian music.

Christmas by the Lake by the 3CS & Mixx FM Team from Colac, VIC (ACE Radio Broadcasters) took home Best Community Campaign – Country, for their success in uniting the community through a festive, feel-good celebration. Meanwhile, Wollongong’s i98FM was recognised for their outstanding work in supporting one of the region’s largest charity convoys, with the i98FM Illawarra Convoy Team winning Best Community Campaign – Provincial.

The commercial podcasting world also celebrated major wins, with Hannah’s Story (9Podcasts, Nine Radio) named Podcast of the Year. The true crime sensation, produced by Jess Lodge, Melissa Downes, and Adam Buncher, has captivated listeners across the country.

Australia’s love for audio in all forms was also recognised with awards for innovation, including iHeartTrivia (iHeartRadio Team) winning Most Innovative DAB Format and The Reporter True Stories (6PR, Nine Radio) winning Best Podcast by a Radio Show.

CRA Chief Executive Officer Lizzie Young praised the winners, saying: “These awards recognise the talent, passion, and creativity that drive the audio industry forward. From impactful local news to engaging entertainment, the ACRA winners are setting the bar for excellence in Australian radio and audio.”
