Adelady expands brand into podcasting with Nova Podcasts

Nova Podcasts is set to partner with a new Adelaide-born podcast Adelady Unfiltered, created and hosted by lifestyle media founders Hayley Pearson and Lauren De Cesare.

The new weekly show is currently in development, officially launching on April 9.

Built as the next evolution of the Adelady brand, Adelady Unfiltered sits within a broader lifestyle ecosystem celebrating the best of South Australia.

Adelady currently spans digital, social, television and print, showcasing style, fashion, food, art, health, fitness, family and feel-good local discoveries.

The new podcast will take the community inside the lives of its founders, delivering an unpolished, unfiltered take on modern life, capturing the conversations you usually only have with your closest friends over brunch.

Adelady co-founder and former radio host Hayley Pearson said the podcast was the natural next step: “Lauren and I have built Adelady by showing up as ourselves, talking about real life and celebrating our community. Adelady Unfiltered is the place we get to say the things we probably wouldn’t put in a social caption. It is conversational, a bit chaotic and very honest, which is exactly how we talk off mic.”

Lauren De Cesare said the show is designed to feel like a safe space rather than a production: “It’s just two friends talking about life as it actually is, the good bits, the awkward bits and the stuff you laugh about later. We have always had these conversations privately, now we are just inviting people into them.”

Nova Podcasts Network Director Rachel Corbett added “Hayley and Lauren have built a loyal, highly engaged audience by consistently showing up as themselves and putting their community first. Adelady Unfiltered is a natural extension of that, a personality-driven show grounded in real connection, which is exactly what both listeners and advertisers are looking for.”

Adelady Unfiltered will be available on the Nova Player or wherever listeners get their podcasts from April 9.
