AFTRS FM pops up on iHeartRadio

AFTRS FM, the third pop-up radio station for 2019 Graduate Diploma of Radio students at the Australian Film Television and Radio School is live on iHeartRadio.

 
Students in the full time and part time streams of the AFTRS flagship course are extending their learning, taking on more challenging and complex broadcast formats.
 
A news, current affairs and talk broadcast, AFTRS FM has every student rising to the challenge and producing content, on-air and for digital and social.
 
AFTRS Head of Radio Fyona Smith says “The students have been working hard to create well- targeted, intelligent, thought provoking content, whilst actively supporting Australian music.
 
“Industry air-checkers for the broadcast include ABC’s Glen Bartholomew, RN The Music Show’s Ellie Parnell, 2GB’s Natalie Peters and Sam Stove , Triple J’s Lachie Macara, Australian media personality Angela Catterns and more.
 
“The students have created a series of Podcast’s that air at 1pm during ‘Podclub’ and have secured interviews and in studio appearances with Richard Clapton, Ben from Boo Seeka, touring with SAFIA between now & October across Australia & NZ and Didirri, appearing on ABC’s The Set, currently touring Australia’s East Coast.”
