The major broadcasts for AFTRS Radio students are streaming online from today until Friday, 24 October.

This year, the students have designed TWO new radio stations for the Sydney market:

NEXT HITS – Everything new in music, gossip and entertainment and NEXT LEVEL – Providing BBQ fodder and friendly insights into music, sport, entertainment and DIY.

Students will get to prove their skills in announcing, producing and digital to content and music directing.

AFTRS Head of Radio Lisa Sweeney says the students have worked with mentors to design two fabulous brands that successfully fill gaps in the contemporary Sydney market. “This broadcast will demonstrate our students’ acute understanding of where the industry’s going with strong emphasis on online and social media engagement, as well as the on air content.”
