Stephen Everett retiring from the helm of Ace Radio

ACE Radio Managing Director Stephen Everett will retire in 2016.

Everett has flagged his retirement early, giving the company 16 months to find a successor.

Everett has told radioinfo: “After what has been an amazing 20 years, this timeframe will allow plenty of time, I hope, to find a successor.”

ACE Radio Broadcasters Chairman Rowly Paterson broke the news to staff in a memo which reads:

Dear All

The purpose of this email today is to formally announce to all staff that Stephen Everett will be retiring from the role of Managing Director of ACE Radio in February 2016.

With Stephen fulfilling the role of Managing Director since ACE Radio began, you can probably imagine finding a replacement will be a lengthy process, of which Stephen himself will be involved.

Please be assured that ACE will continue to operate as usual during the next 16 months and beyond.

If anyone has any queries they are welcome to contact me, Stephen or talk to their GM

Kind Regards,
Rowly
