The on-air line up gets “smoother” on the weekends

Californian crooner, Chris Isaak is set to join smoothfm’s all-star weekend line up from Sunday 6 March at 4pm. 
 
The legend behind Wicked Game, Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing and Somebody’s Crying joins smoothfm’s existing star-studded weekend roster including, Melissa Doyle, Richard Wilkins and David Campbell. 
 
Chris Isaak said, “I feel really excited about hosting a radio show on smoothfm! Australians are down to earth and friendly, and I love just getting to talk and hang.”
 
Isaak’s love for Australia grew after spending an extended period in the country last year, as a judge on the Channel Seven hit series X-Factor. He will shortly embark on an Australian tour with dates in Sydney kicking off in April, followed by the Hunter Valley, Mount Cotton, Melbourne, Clare Valley and concluding in Perth.
 
Across his successful 30 year career, Isaak has released 12 studio albums and sold millions in Australia alone. His latest album First Comes The Night, which is out now, debuted at #2 on the ARIA Album Chart.
 
Melissa Doyle hosts Saturdays and Sundays from 6am, Richard Wilkins from 10am, David Campbell from 1pm and now Chris Isaak can be heard on smoothfm 95.3 Sydney, smoothfm 91.5 Melbourne and on smoothfm DAB+ on Sundays from 4pm to 5pm.
