The Gold Coast’s Hit90.9 has announced Alisson (Ali) Longhurst as their Content Director taking over from Corey Kay as he moves into his new position of Gold 92.5 Content Director.
Having been part of the 90.9Sea FM breakfast teams throughout 2015 to 2017, Ali comes back to the Gold Coast with many years’ experience as a producer, her most recent role as Senior Producer of Melbourne’s Fox FM with Fifi, Fev and Bryon.
Ali says, “I am absolutely thrilled to be a part the GC’s Hit90.9 team. I consider it an honour to be working alongside such talented people who share my passion for both radio and the Gold Coast.”
“The GC is home for me – I love the people, the culture, the weather, my house in Carrara and I am ecstatic to be heading back and doing what we do best. I know this team will achieve amazing things and I can’t wait to get up there and start!”
Head of the Hit Network Gemma Fordham says, “Ali will bring her breakfast show experience to our newly announced Hit90.9 Brekkie Crew with Lise, Sarah, Ben and Dan. Ali brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, a huge amount of enthusiasm and a deep love for the Goldie.”
Ali’s appointment comes after it was announced that 90.9 Sea FM will rename to Hit90.9 as of Monday, 29 July and she will commence her position at Hit90.9 on Monday, 12 August.
