Top Debut: Amy Shark scores a Top 40 debut with new single
Aussie Watch: Local representation at Australian radio continues to dip
Heating Up: Bruno Mars earns 163 spins for ‘Risk It All’
Amy Shark drops her new single ‘The Biggest Dick’ which debuts at #31 on the latest RCS Media Monitors Radio Airplay Chart. KIIS Sydney and Melbourne led the way with 20 and 19 spins, respectively.
However, Shark’s debut hasn’t been enough to halt the steady decline in local representation at radio over the past few months. This week’s chart features only six local entries, the lowest number since October last year.
Leading the Aussie contingent is Sonny Fodera’s ‘Think About Us’ (#2), while Tame Impala, Tones And I, Guy Sebastian and Mall Grab round out the local lineup.
Bruno Mars adds another debut to his name with ‘Risk it All’, the second single off his 2026 album The Romantic. Starting at #38, the track mustered up 163 spins across nine stations, spearheaded by support from the Nova network.
