ARN Creative and Production pair awarded in New York

ARN’s  Shaun Malzard (Creative Director) and Daryl Missen (Producer) have received a coveted Finalist Award status (the top 10% of all entries) in the 2014 New York Festivals, the competition for the World’s Best Advertising™.
 
The entry was for Melbourne Client Protect-A-Child who develop and sell a software package that allows parents to actively monitor who is communicating with their children online. Audio below.
 
Nearly 500 of the world’s most experienced award-winning creatives, the largest advertising jury ever assembled, judged the entries from around the world. The ARN entry is the only ad created in-house by an Australian radio station to be recognised in this year’s awards.
 
If the accolades weren’t enough, the trophy is certainly something special – it’s created by Sagmeister & Walsh and inspired by New York’s classic Art Deco skyscrapers and projects the winners credits and award via the base. See the video here
 
Although they couldn’t attend the New York awards presentation at the Beau Arts New York Public Library in Manhattan, Shaun and Daryl’s trophy is on route to them now.
