ARN says goodbye to St Nick

Nick Condon is finishing up at ARN Sydney and moving permanently to Adelaide to take up a new job leading the South Australian Chamber of Commerce’s digital and technology teams.

He has told radioinfo: “This is an excellent opportunity for me to diversify my digital knowledge, knowing digital is the future of everything.”

Nick has been with ARN for seven years, arriving with a plan to take them into the digital word. In that time he took a team of two people to a team of over twenty and ARN is now among the top 30 Australian digital publishers.

“During my time at ARN we designed and rebuilt the digital infrastructure, launched DAB+ stations, brought iHeartRadio to Australia, launched two KIIS stations and helped relaunch the Pure Gold brand.”

While Nick says it’s time for a change he’d still like to keep his finger firmly in the radio pie with Elf Radio (click here for details)

“After winning two ACRA’s for Elf… I actually think I’ll come back to ARN for this each year – so I guess just like Christmas, St Nick will arrive each year to bring Christmas cheer!”

Nick’s final day at ARN is today and wasting no time he’ll start with SA Chamber of Commerce on Monday.
