ARN strengthens National Marketing Team

ARN’s National Marketing team has been expanded with a range of new appointments.

Selina Nisanyan fills the newly created role of Digital Marketing Manager, where she will be tasked with optimizing ARN’s digital marketing campaign activity across display, social, and search platforms, as well as responsibility for end to end brand management of iHeartRadio and initiatives for the Edge.

Most recently, Selina (pictured below) spent three years at Sydney Water as Social Media Manager, and was responsible for the overall strategy including platform development, content creation, training and governance and for developing and launching the digital arm of Tap, a project aimed at promoting the benefits of “Sydney’s finest drop.”

National Marketing Director Anthony Xydis says Selina will be “a valuable asset in this role, which has been specifically created to ensure we continue to invest in marketing activity on platforms where our audiences are most engaged.”

Covering the role of Senior Marketing Manager for Jodie Koning who is on maternity leave, is Cassandra Hilton Beck. With seven years of media experience working for SBS and TV1, she will be responsible for consumer marketing activities across ARN’s portfolio of brands, with a dedicated focus on the KIIS 1065 and WS FM101.7 brands in Sydney.

“Cassandra brings her ample experience working in consumer and trade media to the forefront at ARN, where she will work closely across our Sydney brands as well as with Melbourne and Digital Marketing on key campaign activities,” says Xydis.

Bringing over 20 years media experience, including Group Account Manager and Integration roles at Austereo, to the newly created role of Trade Marketing Manager, is Gabrielle Cook (pictured below).

Having joined ARN in 2009 in a part-time capacity as Campaign Strategist, Xydis is pleased to see Cook taking on this full-time role saying, “Gabrielle has proved herself indispensable, moving to the Trade Marketing role in November last year in time to work on the launch of KIIS 1065. She will drive all aspects of the trade marketing function, implementation of plans through launches, run communications programs, and will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.”

Providing support to the Marketing team is Alyssa Rocca (pictured below), in the newly created role of Marketing Coordinator. Bringing her experience as Sales Coordinator in Direct Sales and WSFM Campaign Coordinator, Alyssa will handle all internal communications, event execution, design and distribution of promotional merchandise, and provide general marketing support across the ARN suite of consumer and trade brands.

Donna Gordan, who has been Marketing Manager with ARN for the past three years and based in Melbourne, rounds out the team and continues looking after consumer media across GOLD 104.3, Mix101.1 and the Brisbane and Adelaide brands across the network.

ARN CEO Ciaran Davis has told radioinfo: “This is yet another phase in the continued growth of ARN and its shift in strategic direction in becoming a contemporary media and entertainment company. With our bold plans launching KIIS 1065 and the recent Pure Gold relaunch of WS FM 101.7 and GOLD 104.3, this significant renewal of our marketing investment will ensure we continue to promote our brands and is another step forward in realising our goals.”
