Nova Breakfast show duo Ben & Liam will take the reins to host the Sailor Jerry Rolling Stone Australia Awards at Sydney’s The Argyle at the end of March.
Rolling Stone Australia announced the hosts of its Awards today that will feature performances by with both Tash Sultana and Mia Rodriguez.
The nominees for the Rolling Stone Australia Awards celebrate the achievements of the breadth of Australian musicians from what has been a trying and unpredictable 2020.
Paying homage to the year that was in music, a broad range of genres are represented across Best Record, Best Single, Best New Artist, Rolling Stone Global Award, and the Rolling Stone Reader’s Award, the latter to be decided on by Rolling Stone Australia’s magazine subscribers.
Across the five award categories, Perth’s Tame Impala are up for three Rolling Stone Australia Awards for Best Record for their fourth album The Slow Rush, as well as the Rolling Stone Global Award, and the Rolling Stone Reader’s Award.
Other multi-award nominees include indie-pop artist E^ST, genre chameleon Tkay Maidza, sibling duo Lime Cordiale, global pop icon Sia, hip-hop export The Kid LAROI, and psych-rock “one person band” Tash Sultana, with two nominations each.
